Having such a wide variety of coral reefs help to make Tobago home to many tropical marine species, form tropical  fish like the Guppies native to Trinidad and Tobago, to reptiles like the endangered leatherback turtle.

Buccoo Reef is one the most accredited reef in Tobago, with its wide array of corals, and crystal clear water making the view from a glass bottom boat just as beautiful as being up and close. With an access of over 1 million species found on the reefs, Tobago’s underwater experience makes it the most bio-diverse habitat, second to the rainforests. Just as every reef is full of fish, there are always predators around the corner.

Manta Rays, Tobago’s local tropical predator, can be found under the sand waiting for pray, but glimpses of these beautiful fish are pronominal! But beware of the tail; because that is one sting you could do without! Some fishes to look out for while visiting these reefs are the angelfish, parrotfish and blue chromis.
